Wind and watertight

Every container we sell is guaranteed wind and watertight on delivery. If a unit leaks or does not seal on arrival, contact us with photographs and we will repair or replace it at our cost.

New build and one-trip units

New and one-trip containers carry a 12-month structural warranty against manufacturing defect in the shell, floor, doors and locking hardware, from the date of delivery.

Used and graded units

Graded used containers are guaranteed wind and watertight at the point of delivery. They are sold in used condition and are not covered for cosmetic wear, existing repairs or deterioration consistent with their stated grade.

Modifications and fit-out

Work carried out by our own fabrication team — cutting, framing, glazing, insulation, lining and electrical installation — is warranted for 12 months against defective workmanship. Third-party components such as HVAC units, appliances and locks carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we pass through to you.

What is not covered

Damage from misuse, overloading beyond the rated payload, unauthorised cutting or welding, movement or lifting by others, subsidence or unsuitable ground preparation, accident, vandalism, or normal cosmetic weathering.

Making a claim

Email info@charlotcontainerllc.com with your order reference, a description of the fault and clear photographs. We will respond within two working days and arrange inspection or repair as appropriate.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under applicable federal and Florida consumer law.
